What is a “HOME INSPECTION”?
It is an in-depth visual examination by a certified professional of a home’s structural and mechanical systems.
Why do I need a HOME INSPECTION?
Every home of every age has maintenance issues. The purpose of an inspection is to educate the buyer regarding the care and costs involved when taking over those maintenance issues. The home Inspector may interpret clues of fresh paint possibly covering structural problems or water marks in the basement and other clues so you can avoid unpleasant surprises after your purchase.
Why Not Do it Myself?
Even those who have owned homes and have years of experience may not be familiar with all aspects of an inspection. Also, many buyers find it difficult to remain unemotional about a house they really want.
